We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding safety standards.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit of the premises to prevent unauthorised access. Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the safety of property. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on site. Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age restrictions and behaviour guidelines. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns. Maintain accurate records of incidents and report them to management as needed. Engage with patrons in a friendly manner while maintaining authority and professionalism.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred. Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention practices is highly advantageous. Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
