Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both patrons and staff. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with poise. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify age and prevent underage entry. Implement crowd control measures during busy periods to maintain order and safety. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, applying first aid when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Report any suspicious behaviour or potential security threats to management immediately. Assist in training staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role or within the security industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Certification in first aid is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with patrons and colleagues alike. A valid SIA licence is essential for this position.
