Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of conduct.

Duties

Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious behaviour or activities. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the venue. Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while interacting with guests and staff. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences for management review. Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage of the venue.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with a Bodycam First aid certification is desirable; willingness to undertake training if not already certified. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
