The Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Door/Roller Shutter Engineer

to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out installation, servicing, and repairs of a variety of industrial and commercial doors at client sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair roller shutters, sectional doors, steel security doors, fire doors, and other access solutions. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site. Conduct routine service inspections and complete job reports. Respond to emergency call-outs when required (on-call rota). Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with company and site-specific H&S requirements. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and office staff.

Requirements:

Proven experience in door/roller shutter installation and repair (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Valid UK driving licence (essential). Good understanding of health and safety regulations. IPAF, PASMA, or CSCS card (preferred but not essential). Flexible and willing to travel to different sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
