Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Dorset - ATM - Permanence Team, focusing on supporting children in need. This is an exciting opportunity to make a profound impact in the lives of vulnerable children and their families within our community. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children, working collaboratively with families and various stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support children's welfare.
Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely reviews and updates.
Working closely with other professionals, including educators, healthcare providers, and law enforcement.
Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
