Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Window Programmer & Glass Unit Fabricator

to join our growing team. This dual-role position involves both the fabrication of double-glazed units and customer interaction within a dynamic production and sales environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of using both technical and interpersonal skills to contribute to a smooth and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate double-glazed units according to technical drawings and specifications Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and accurately Maintain high standards of quality and production efficiency Use

Evolution Business Micros Design Suite

and

Excel

for daily production planning and data management Collaborate with colleagues across fabrication, sales, and operations to streamline processes Coordinate daily product fitting processes alongside the Operations and Sales Manager Engage with customers to collect balances and deposits in an indirect sales environment Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a clean, organised workspace

Required Skills & Experience

Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting is advantageous but not essential Experience in a customer-facing or sales environment is preferred but not required Familiarity with Business Micros software and Excel is beneficial A proactive and quality-focused mindset with the ability to meet production deadlines
