Job Description

Pay rate of 12.60 to 13.30 Mileage paid at 45p per mile

We currently have opportunities available for doubles teams - we have work available for drivers and walkers. Working as a team of two you will support clients in their own homes and will have a regular set run. Applications are invited from those wishing to apply with a friend to form a team or from people applying alone and looking to be allocated with a work partner.

rates range from 12.60 for someone with no experience, 12.90 once Social Care Wales registered (you will achieve this within the first 6 months) and 13.30 once Level 2 qualified.*

Job description

As a Care Worker with Cynefin Care you will provide care and support for people in their own homes. Our aim is to enable people to maintain their life in the way they want to even as their need for support increases either through age or illness. In a recent Contract Monitoring report comments from our clients and their families included,

'the care staff are like a breath of fresh air' and another commented that they

'didn't know what they would do without them'.

You will work as part of a

small team delivering care and support to a number of people in a local area

. You do not need to have formal qualifications but if you have good interpersonal skills, a caring nature, practical skills and common sense then you are already well qualified to succeed in this role. We provide full training before you go out to work and initially you will work with an experienced member of the team to help you find your feet.
