Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bulldozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation, particularly bulldozers, and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to earthmoving and site preparation. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while working on construction sites or other designated areas.

Duties

Operate bulldozers to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving earth or materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the bulldozer to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in the planning of work schedules and site layouts as required. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Experience

Proven experience operating bulldozers or similar heavy machinery is essential. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred, enabling the operation of machinery on public roads if necessary. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to dig effectively and efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Previous experience in construction or related fields will be considered an asset.
