About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Dozer Operative

to join our team on an exciting [construction / civil engineering / earthworks] project. The successful candidate will play a key role in site preparation, grading, and general earthmoving duties, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate dozer machinery (e.g. CAT D6/D8 or equivalent) in a safe and efficient manner Carry out rough and fine grading, levelling, and earthmoving Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the machine Work closely with groundworkers, site supervisors, and other plant operatives Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and reports as required

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS card with Dozer category Proven experience operating dozers in a construction or civil engineering environment Strong awareness of site health and safety practices Ability to read site drawings and work to grade Good communication and teamwork skills [Desirable: GPS experience / lifting ops / first aid / other relevant tickets]
