Drainage Contract Supervisor

Job Overview

Drainage Contract Supervisor required to join a rapidly growing drainage business specialising in highways, utilities, rail and construction work.

What will the role involve?

Day to day management of crews and vehicles ensuring all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Brief staff and deliver tool box talks Create job packs Support operations crews with technical issues Monitor and maintain dewatering bay Undertake site safety and quality audits Undertake joint audits with clients Perform periodic equipment and vehicle audits Work closely with the depot management team to deliver works and to meet programme Quantifying and ordering materials and plant Ensure operatives attending training when allocated to do so

What we are looking for?

Prior experience in a drainage environment Prior experience of using combination units and jet vacs Full UK Driving Licence preferably with LGV Class C including driver CPC Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Participation in 'Duty Manager' rota Experience of Chapter 8 and Traffic Management Experience of managing a directly employed workforce
