Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer who must have liner experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in drainage systems, ensuring effective installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work collaboratively on site to deliver high-quality drainage solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement drainage systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct site assessments to evaluate drainage requirements and potential challenges. Assemble and weld components of drainage systems using hand tools and power tools. Perform regular maintenance checks on existing drainage systems to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborate with other engineers and construction teams to coordinate project activities. Utilise basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary when handling materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Experienced drainage liner Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery relevant to drainage work. Ability to assemble components accurately while adhering to safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of materials to various sites. Work truck/vans available. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job demands.
