We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across various projects. Responsibilities
Design and plan drainage systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
Install new drainage infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques
Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing drainage networks to ensure optimal performance
Utilise ,plumbing, and assembly skills to complete complex tasks
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation and repair processes
Perform heavy lifting as required to handle materials and equipment safely
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Conduct inspections of drainage systems to identify faults or potential issues
Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project
Skills
Proficiency in,plumbing, drainage , and assembly techniques
Experience with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems
Strong understanding of mechanical principles relevant to drainage infrastructure
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and technical drawings
Ability to operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment when necessary
Knowledge of heavy lifting procedures to ensure safety during manual handling tasks
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and planning
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
