We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and practical experience in drainage infrastructure, ensuring efficient and sustainable solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the civil engineering sector, contributing to the development of reliable drainage networks.

Duties



Design and plan drainage systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards Install and repair drainage infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques Conduct site inspections to assess existing drainage conditions and identify issues Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely during installation and maintenance activities Collaborate with other engineering professionals and contractors to ensure project completion within deadlines Perform routine maintenance on drainage systems to prevent blockages or failures Use hand tools, plumbing equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble components and secure installations Carry out welding tasks where necessary for pipe joining or structural support Undertake heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on-site Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used

Skills



Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly techniques relevant to drainage work Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery operation Strong mechanical knowledge related to drainage components and infrastructure Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and technical drawings Ability to operate commercial vehicles for site transportation when required Good understanding of health and safety regulations in construction environments Physical fitness for heavy lifting and working in demanding outdoor conditions Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
This position is paid accordingly for all applicants, including internships. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards safety standards and possess the necessary technical competencies to excel in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,500.00-40,000.00 per year
