Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Drainage

Assistant

to support the operation of a mainline Survey rig within our expanding drainage business. Our projects cover highways, utilities, rail, and construction sectors, offering a varied and rewarding working environment.

Requirements

Clean UK driving licence. Previous experience working on the rear of a mainline Survey rig preferred but not essential . Confined space training/experience (advantageous). CSCS certification (advantageous). Strong ability to follow instructions accurately. Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional overtime. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong commitment to health, safety, and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation and maintenance of drainage survey equipment. Work collaboratively with the Rig Leader and team to ensure efficient site operations. Support with rig set-up, dismantling, and safe storage of equipment. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of vehicles and equipment. Carry out duties in line with company health and safety procedures.
