This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an inspirational teacher of Drama & Oracy to join Broadwater School and contribute to improving the life chances of young people both within the school and across our Trust.

About the role:



To work in partnership with the Head of Performing Arts and other members of the Performing Arts Depts. to provide exceptional teaching and learning to students in all year groups. To be accountable for Oracy and GCSE Drama outcomes.

The successful candidate will motivate, challenge, support and inspire our students. They must also have relevant experience in a similar role with a proven track record.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/tutor. To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to accelerate with their learning. To contribute to raising standards of student attainment across the school. To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
