Salary: 33,075-50,471 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver dynamic, age-appropriate drama lessons that captivate and challenge students
  • Confidently teach students of varying abilities, using strong differentiation techniques to support diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement imaginative lesson plans that foster creativity and critical thinking
  • Inspire students to explore self-expression through performance and dramatic arts
  • Lead and direct school productions and extracurricular drama initiatives
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic growth
Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, or a closely related discipline
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent preferred -- however, ECTs and unqualified teachers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
  • Proven classroom experience with a strong understanding of effective teaching practices
  • A genuine passion for the performing arts and the ability to inspire and engage young learners
  • Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • Hold a current enhanced DBS registered on the updates service, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting the role
