Salary: 30,000 - 46,525 (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
A creative and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is looking for a passionate Drama Teacher to lead engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school places a strong emphasis on the arts and encourages students to develop confidence, teamwork, and self-expression through performance and theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and imaginative Drama lessons to students in Years 7-11
- Prepare students for GCSE Drama, including practical and written components
- Organise and support school productions, theatre visits, and drama clubs
- Collaborate with colleagues across the arts faculty to enhance the creative curriculum
- QTS and a specialism in Drama or Performing Arts
- Experience teaching Drama in secondary settings
- Passionate about developing students' confidence, creativity, and communication skills
- Supportive and enthusiastic performing arts department
- Access to a black box theatre and drama studio
- Strong leadership support and CPD opportunities
