:

  • Delivering engaging, imaginative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5), including script work, improvisation, and theatre history
  • Planning a broad and inclusive curriculum that promotes confidence, creativity, and collaboration
  • Using formative and summative assessment to support student progress and personalise learning
  • Leading and supporting school productions, drama clubs, and performance showcases
  • Collaborating with colleagues to promote cross-curricular creativity and whole-school engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience teaching Drama at secondary level (though enthusiastic ECTs are warmly welcomed!)
  • Be passionate about theatre, performance, and inspiring young talent
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and differentiation strategies
  • Be committed to raising achievement and nurturing student voice
  • Embrace a growth mindset and value ongoing CPD
  • Be confident using digital tools to enhance learning and production planning
