. This role gives children the opportunity to explore acting, improvisation, and performance, helping them build confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
The club runs
once a week for 1 hour
(after-school, day to be confirmed).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire small groups of primary-aged children in drama activities.
Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate sessions focusing on acting, improvisation, and performance skills.
Encourage confidence, imagination, and enjoyment in performing.
Communicate clearly with parents and school staff regarding children's progress.
Ensure the session space and any equipment are safe, organised, and ready for use.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching drama, theatre, or performing arts to children in schools, clubs, or similar settings.
Ability to engage and motivate children in a structured yet enjoyable way.
Strong English communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and staff.
A background in performing arts, drama, theatre, or teaching is desirable.
