Montage Theatre Arts is seeking a dynamic, inspiring, and collaborative

Drama Teacher

to lead our exciting programme of workshops and performances for young people aged 14-18. We are looking for someone who can nurture creativity, build confidence, and empower young people through an ensemble-led approach. This role is ideal for an energetic theatre facilitator who is passionate about using the arts to foster personal, social, and educational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Design, lead, and direct

performances, workshops, and creative projects

that reflect and respond to the interests of young people. Deliver engaging sessions that build skills in areas such as acting, devising, movement, dance, puppetry, and singing. Create and sustain strong communication channels with participants and the Creative Programme Producer, ensuring youth voice and feedback are at the heart of the work. Direct and deliver

showcase/performance events

that celebrate and share the talents of young people. Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment, in line with all MTA policies and safeguarding procedures.

Person Specification

Proven experience

teaching or leading youth theatre, drama, or creative arts programmes. A strong ability to

engage and inspire

diverse groups of young people. A passion for youth development and a commitment to supporting personal growth through the arts. Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills. An up-to-date

Enhanced DBS disclosure

(or willingness to obtain one).

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 30.00 per hour
