White Label Cocktails is an innovative beverage-solutions company experiencing significant growth as the market for premium ready-to-drink cocktails expands. We have been at the forefront of premiumisation in this category, ensuring our clients' brands shine while we remain behind the scenes. With capabilities in both canning and bottling, we serve a diverse range of clients across all sales channels, continually innovating and challenging the status quo to find "the perfect problem."

We are searching to bolster our NPD team by recruiting a product developer who is passionate about cocktails and has a natural flair for creativity and problem solving. In this core area of our business, you will have the opportunity to directly impact our customers innovation projects and support their continued growth in the UK's fastest growing drinks category.

This pivotal role involves optimising processes and working closely with quality assurance, technical departments, and the production team. We are looking for someone with a commercial mindset who can identify cost efficiencies, manage budgets, and build strong supplier relationships. While not essential, experience in development kitchens, product analysis, testing equipment, technical production processes, and knowledge of regulations and food safety policies would be advantageous.

Responsibilities



Ingredient & Recipe Creation and Development



o Drink/Cocktail design and specification development.

o Recording recipe information into company systems for traceability.

Commercial Costings:

Support cost-saving initiatives and identify and optimize recipes and production processes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure smooth project transitions.

Supplier Liaison

: Liaise with ingredient suppliers and obtain necessary technical information and commercial information.

Documentation Management:



Procurement

Support:

Collaborate with Purchasing on ingredient and flavoring procurement.

Ingredient

Approval:

Ensure ingredient approval processes are followed.

Trial

Management:

Manage trials and new liquid development with flavor houses.

Label

Information & Compliance:

Provide liquid information for labels across different markets.

Shelf Life & Sensory Trials:

Organise shelf life and sensory trials for new products and ingredients.

Requirements:



Drink development background. Will consider:

o Cocktail menu development background with interest to move into scale development.

o Scaled beverage production background with interest to learn pre-batched cocktails.

o Food development background with transferable skill set to beverages.

Commercial awareness and forecasting capability.

Scientific mindset with methodical recording initiatives and problem solving skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

An understanding of the drinks market would be ideal, but not a requirement.

Ability to travel to location (Gatwick Area).

Package and Benefits:



Gross Basic Salary: 36-40k experience dependent.

Matched Pension Contributions

Holidays: 28 days inclusive of Statutory Holidays.

Discretionary Bonus structure
