Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join our team in the Transport and Logistics division as a Driver.
Initial duties will include:
Collection and potential loading of products at depot.
Multi-drop deliveries based on a suggested route plan direct to customers.
Unloading of products at customer sites (trolley provided although hand balling may be required at times).
Obtaining customer signatures on delivery notes.
Maintaining notes on deliveries / handling of delivery paperwork.
Updating the office with any requirements to your vehicle as and when required.
Daily Vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is legal and drivable.
The successful driver should have:
Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and pressures from customers and expected delivery dates.
Team player, Good at communication, Attention to detail, Willingness to learn.
You should hold the relevant licences.
Flexible approach to work.
Be the face of the company when out delivering for us.
A good geographical knowledge is essential along with a clean driving licence.
General hours of work are 45-55 hours per week (Monday - Friday) however there will be some requirements for outside of these hours therefore flexibility is key.
