DRIVERS - 7.5 TONNE

(with up to 4 nights out per week)

Barker and Stonehouse is a family run company business founded in 1946 with great products and superb presentation. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible 7.5T Drivers for our Blaydon Warehouse.

Duties include :

Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness

Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation

Safe loading and unloading of furniture to customer properties and warehouses

Some furniture assembly in customer properties

Ensure furniture is unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer's properties

Maintain vehicle to the legal requirements and as outlined in the Driver's handbook

Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

This role will involve heavy lifting.

Requirements for the post :

A Class C1/C license, digital tachograph card

CPC qualified
