Job Description
We are a busy and growing food manufacturing business looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Driver/Packer to join our team. The hours will be around 30 per week, flexible although these can be increased if required.
Key Requirements:
Valid 7.5T driving licence with up-to-date CPC Digi Card A maximum of 3 penalty points considered (clean licence preferred) Good knowledge of Central Scotland road networks Strong spoken and written English - must be able to understand and follow instructions Manual handling experience - this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting Cash handling experience is an advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Driving 7.5T vehicle for scheduled deliveries and collections Packing and preparing products for delivery Handling goods with care and ensuring accurate deliveries Assisting with machine setup and product preparation within the production unit Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
