Driving duties
- Delivering our high-quality products to customer premises in a professional and timely manner and
Branch Support
- Assisting with yard operations, including loading, and unloading vehicles, and supporting day-to-day branch activities

This role involves:
Delivering a wide range of high-quality Civils and Drainage products to customers in Colchester and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will be expected to
Ensure efficient & safe operation of the vehicle
Strive to complete on time delivery of orders to JDP customers
Comply with all vehicle and drivers' legislation
Providing customers with product and service information
Pick customer orders accurately
Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
Serve customers on the trade counter when required
Customer interaction
Qualifications
Essential:
Class C Licence
Some Driver CPC training
Digital driving licence (tacho card)
An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
Detailed understanding of driver procedures "driving hours rules & regulations"
Experience in efficient route planning
Excellent communication and customer service
Required:
Excellent customer service skills
Literacy & Numeracy
Desirable:
Warehouse/yard experience
A good knowledge of computers
Forklift truck licence
