Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hard-working

Driver & Labourer

to support our plumbing and drainage operations on a

self-employed basis

. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day drainage and plumbing work while safely transporting tools and materials using a company-provided van. This role requires a solid understanding of basic plumbing and drainage systems, as well as the physical capability to carry out manual labour.

Duties

Drive to and from residential and commercial job sites using a company van Assist with various plumbing and drainage tasks, including digging, unblocking, and minor pipework Carry out manual labour and site preparation as required Handle and maintain tools and equipment on-site Ensure vehicles and work areas are kept clean and tidy Follow job instructions and work alongside tradespeople on active sites Communicate clearly with team members and clients when needed

Requirements

Valid UK driving licence with a clean record Working knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems and basic repair methods Self-employed status (UTR number required) Physically fit and willing to carry out labour-intensive work in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction Previous experience in a plumbing, drainage, or construction-related role is beneficial but not essential Must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
