Overview

The role involves transportation of medical equipment to various hospital sites in the UK where Core Medical Solutions have contracts to provide lithotripsy treatment. The role involves movement and set up of the equipment for the day. The post holder then greets the patients, creating a welcoming atmosphere and updates the computer system under the guidance of the Radiographer. We are seeking a friendly and professional Greeter to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, as well as the ability to manage various tasks efficiently.

Duties

Drive the van with Lithotripsy equipment to various hospital sites in the UK. Safely unload and move the equipment to the designated treatment room. Ensure equipment is set up and cleaned. Record information as directed by the Radiographer on the company tablet. Greet patients in a professional and polite manner, creating a welcoming environment for them (there is no requirement for "personal care", a maximum of 12 patients are treated in one day). This is an anualised hours contract for 1920 hours a year (all driving hours count as working hours which equates to 3 - 4 shifts a week with approximately 6 overnight stays a month. A 25 payment is made for an overnight stay) Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring all relevant information is shared promptly. Perform additional duties as required to support overall operations.

Qualifications

skills and experience

Full UK driving license (for insurance purposes post holder must be aged 24+) and careful driving skills. Post holder must be physically capable of unloading and moving (following safe manual handling practices) equipment with wheels on and off the vehicle (with tail lift) safely. The post holder must have a satisfactory/clear enhanced DBS check. Ability to update company records on the company tablet. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience as a van driver or commercial driving is a plus. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. You will be provided with uniform, as we work in a clinical environment and clean and professional image is required.
