Summary

Open 6 days per week, our centre is looking to recruit a full-time member of staff to deliver to our customers in the local area. The job will combine driving, working in the yard and dealing with customers face to face.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our landscape and builders merchant business. The yard and warehouse activities will support of our mission to deliver top-notch hard landscaping and building solutions. The Driver/Yard Worker will play a vital role in maintaining inventory and assisting with deliveries.

Responsibilities

Delivering goods to retail and trade customers Serving retail and trade customers in the yard Stocking the yard with products Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy yard Assist with the organization and maintenance of yard inventory. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently Support delivery operations by preparing orders for dispatch. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed while operating equipment. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the yard area.

Requirements

Experience working in a warehouse or Yard environment Heavy lifting will be required Local knowledge of the area is preferable Clean driving license. Ability to communicate clearly with team members ,supervisors and customers. Valid driver's license and clean; experience as a delivery driver is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
