Due to continuous growth, we are seeking reliable drivers to join our team in transporting school children safely to various schools over Devon. Successful applicants will have to pass and undergo their taxi training course in order to be successful for this job role. This is funded by Halfpenny Yard LTD for the right candidates!

Successful applicants will be given their own Taxi, Fuel Card & set route in order to complete their daily school run in the morning and afternoon. These are Monday - Friday, 38 Weeks a year ( School Terms ) You must be available between the following hours 07:00 to 09:30 Then again at 14:00 to 17:00 to be suitable for this position. These times of day are typically when we operate school runs.

Your role will be to collect the passenger/passengers from their home address's in the morning and drive them to school. In the afternoon you will then collect them from school and drive them home. Children are bought to and collected from the taxi at either end of the journey. Some routes will have passenger escorts to assist children with any additional needs.

We are looking for staff in Bideford, Barnstaple, Great Torrington and locations between.

Taxis can be kept at your home address or at our Depot.
