Job Description
To be responsible for the safe transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle condition.
Typical routes will vary between Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Cardiff & London however there maybe occasions where travel is required to other UK locations.
Key Responsibilities
Transporting Goods
: Safely deliver packages to designated locations, ensuring timely arrival.Vehicle Maintenance
: Perform regular checks on the vehicle, report any issues, and ensure it is clean and well-maintained.Route Planning
: Utilize navigation systems to determine the most efficient routes, considering traffic and road conditions.Customer Service
: Provide excellent service to clients, including assisting with loading and unloading when necessary.Record Keeping
: Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.Qualifications and Skills
Valid Driver's License
: A clean UK driver's licenseKnowledge of Local Roads
: Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes is essential for efficient navigation.Physical Stamina
: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods.Time Management
: Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and ensure timely deliveries.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
