Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in various environments, including warehouses and on the road.

Duties

Ensure timely and safe delivery of products to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist with loading and unloading goods as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. Ability to work in a warehouse environment when required, including lifting heavy items safely. A good understanding of route planning and navigation systems is beneficial.
