We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to clients. This role requires excellent driving skills and the ability to navigate various routes. The Driver will play a vital part in maintaining our company's reputation for punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any delays. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times during operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver. Demonstrable experience with commercial driving. Mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Familiarity with delivery routes within the local area and beyond is advantageous.
