Pipe Dream Fittings is a well-established pipe fitting supplier with a strong online presence throughout the UK.

We are looking to recruit a full-time, permanent, reliable Driver to cover a National remit, delivering/ collection to customers and suppliers.

As a Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of our operations. during quieter times, this person will be required to work in the warehouse to support the staff in warehouse duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ability to interact with external and internal customers in a positive and professional manner Load van with specific deliveries, ensure that all items are safely secured and stable Ensure that all tasks carried out are as per written and verbal instructions Ensure that all customer orders and delivery requirements are to specification Prioritise delivery sequence to ensure that each specific order timing requirements are met. A commitment to safe and lawful driving practices A commitment to ensuring all legislation regarding the use of mobile phones and seat belts are continuously adhered to A commitment to observing all customer health safety and speed restriction rules Whilst no driving is needed the candidate will be expected to carry our warehouse roles, this will include picking and packing of parcels and general warehouse tasks.

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

Private driving license, clean with no previous convictions Experienced in Commercial Multi-drop Driving Ability to interact with customers in a positive and professional manner Interpersonal skills in dealing with the public Good communications skills Ability to work to standards and procedures Due to insurance requirements, our drivers must be over the age of 30.
Working hours: 40 hours per week - 9-5.30pm
