Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to support our domiciliary care services. The role involves transporting staff, clients, and essential care equipment safely and efficiently to scheduled appointments and locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong time management, and a responsible approach to ensuring punctual and safe transport.

Duties:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, clients, and care equipment to and from appointments and care locations. Ensure punctual arrival and departure in line with schedules. Assist with loading and unloading care equipment, ensuring items are secure for transit. Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and any incidents in line with company policies. Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and office teams regarding schedules, delays, or concerns. Follow all health and safety regulations, including safe driving practices and infection control protocols.

Experience / Qualifications:

Proven experience as a driver, preferably within healthcare, social care, or a similar professional setting. Full UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards. Experience with transporting staff or clients safely is highly desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is advantageous. Ability to work independently, reliably, and responsibly.

Pay: 13.00 per hour
