Overview

We are currently seeking a self-motivated driver to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent headquarters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our equipment to various locations across the whole UK, with frequent travel between the Stoke and London offices. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, and the ability to navigate effectively.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Deliver medical devices to our customers across the UK (sold and demo units). Complete Installations of BTL equipment - full training will be provided. Communicate effectively with warehouse and head office. Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road.

Qualifications

Driving Licence which includes Category B1 or BE (enabling you to drive a commercial van up to 3,500kg. Please check your licence before you apply) Ideal candidate has full flexibility of working hours as this role may include the occasional night out, early start or late finish. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers. Must possess good organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently while on the road. Expect a mix a shorter and longer days, flexibility is part of the role.
