Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the area with the ability to communicate effectively and ensure timely deliveries. This role involves delviering medication to customers in Chester Le Street area while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive vehicle safely trasnport medicines and working to tight deadlines Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Be able to plan your route efficiently Maintain accurate records of deliveries and delivery times. Communicate effectively with Pharmacy staff and customers regarding delivery information. Ensuring proper handling of items. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a postman or multi drop Delivery Driver or in a similar role is required. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is essential. A valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is required. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
