Job Purpose:

Our Drivers do more than a driving job .You are the face of the business ensuring all goods are delivered in first class condition completing all necessary paperwork and leaving with a good impression of you and our business.

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence High levels of health and safety standards Numerate and literate Ability to communicate with customers and co workers Ability to work under pressure Flexibility Diligent attention to detail Good knowledge of HGV drivers rules and regulations

Desirable Requirement

Experience of multi-drop deliveries Current fork truck certificate(B1 counter balance )

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that the load is correct against customer's orders Check goods off with customer and ensure a signature and print Provide excellent customer service Handle customers issues on delivery and contact Transport Office if required Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage Maintain the cleanliness of the cab Ensure accidents are kept to a minimum Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance to companies accident reporting procedures Complete vehicle daily inspection and report any defects to Manager Attend essential training to carry out the driving role To provide support in warehouse if required by the Transport Manager Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Loading and unloading of product from the vehicle * Opening and closing of vehicle curtains/doors, Moving product by hand around warehouse
