Dial - a- ride DRIVERS

are required to transport service users in and around the community , working Monday-Sunday (on a rota basis). 40 hours .

Fixed Term - Permanent.

The ideal candidate would:-

-Be reliable, punctual, patient, calm, positive, flexible and able to work under pressure

-Deal sensitively with vulnerable Clients and Carers, respecting their dignity.

-Be a good team player

- Good communication skills

-Be able to act quickly in an emergency evacuation from the vehicle.

Desirable- Do you:-

-Possess a Vocational D1 driving license (if you have passed your full driving test prior to 01.01.1997, your license should display a

category D101

).

-Have previous experience of driving a minibus

-Have previous experience of working in a transport environment

-Have a MIDAS certificate

-Have an understanding of Disability Awareness and the effects of poor transport provision.

-Computer literate

In order to fulfil our commitment to safeguarding the people we work with, all candidates will be subject to a social media screening and those called for interview will be required to complete a disqualification declaration. Successful candidates will be required to undertake a full enhanced DBS check which will be required prior to commencing the role. A minimum of 2 reference will be required, one of which must be your most recent employer.
