We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a

Trainee HGV Class 2 Driver

. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in logistics and gain their HGV Class 2 licence (Category C). Full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Undergo training to gain the HGV Class 2/ 7.5 tonne (Category C) licence. Assist in vehicle loading/unloading under supervision. Learn safe and legal operation of HGVs in compliance with road transport and tachograph regulations. Deliver goods to various locations, once fully qualified, ensuring timely and professional service. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers. Assist with vehicle checks, maintenance reporting, and cleanliness.

Requirements:

Must hold a full UK driving licence (Cat B) with minimal penalty points. Aged 18 or over (due to vehicle insurance requirements). Willingness to undertake HGV Class 2/ 7.5 Tonne driver training. Good level of physical fitness (some lifting may be required). Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Excellent communication and time management skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends if required.
