We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods , as well as excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with operational team and customers.
Responsibilities
Operate vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Deliver goods to various locations efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working order.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport.
Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's licence.
Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with flatbed vehicles is an advantage.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
