The Role



We are looking for a dedicated freelance driver to support event logistics and transport. This role focuses on the safe, timely transport of event equipment and vehicles to and from event locations, as well as supporting basic on-site logistics where required.

You will be trusted to represent NRG Entertainment professionally, manage event schedules, and ensure equipment arrives on time and in good condition.

Working Pattern



This is a freelance, event-based role with working hours that vary depending on event schedules. Some bookings require equipment delivery and later collection at separate times, which may result in gaps between active working periods. Payment is based on confirmed bookings and active working time only.

Key Responsibilities



Drive company vehicles (up to Luton-sized vans) to event locations across the UK Load, secure, transport, and unload event equipment safely Ensure timely arrivals in line with event schedules and deadlines Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys Assist with on-site logistics, loading, and pack-down where required Communicate clearly with event managers regarding timings and any issues Maintain a professional, calm, and reliable presence on site

Requirements



Full UK driving licence with a clean or minimal points record Confident driving vehicles up to Luton-sized vans Physically able to assist with loading and unloading equipment (up to 20kg) Willing and able to work long hours and stay overnight at event locations when required Strong time management and reliability Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills Professional appearance and attitude when representing the company

The role will require you to work long days/nights any day of the week. Shifts may start from as early as 5am or may not return until 5am the following morning, depending on the location and event times. Some events may require overnight stays in hotels.
