Accountable to:

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager

Reports to:

Transport Manager

Hours:

32.5 hours per week

Rate of Pay: 12.50 per hour

Purpose of Job: To coordinate with the Transport Manager to ensure the seamless delivery of community transport services.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To strictly observe all Health & Safety regulations. To deliver Meals on Wheels to service users. To assist with the delivery and collection of items, including furniture for the community shop. To undertake the upkeep and cleaning of vehicles and report faults to the appropriate manager. To establish good working relationships with colleagues and service users. To work as a committed member of the team towards the attainment of Resource Centre Derry's aims and objectives. To undertake any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications Essential

A good standard of Maths, English and ICT skills

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years' driving experience

Full, clean driving licence.

Desirable:

Full, current driving licence with D1 category, permitting the driving of passenger and wheelchair-accessible vehicles with up to 16 seats in a paid capacity*
