: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 9am and 3.30pm - 6pm, term time only - job share may be considered

Hipperholme Grammar School is seeking an experienced and conscientious driver to join our existing driver team to enable us to provide a wider transport link for our pupils. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a school minibus to collect / drop off pupils at designated stops, adhering at all times to the driving laws in force at the time. The role is every day during term time in the morning and afternoon, however, there will be the opportunity for overtime for school trips, events and sports fixtures during the school day and occasionally at weekends.

Previous experience of working within a school is not required but would be an advantage, experience of driving a large vehicle is essential.

Hipperholme is an independent day school for pupils aged 3-16, with a nursery, juniors and seniors sections. The school is located in the village of Hipperholme, having been founded here in 1648 by Matthew Broadley. Class sizes are small, with junior year groups up to 20 pupils and senior year groups being a maximum of 40 pupils, split between two classes.
