Role Overview


We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Driver to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, and prior experience in a driving or logistics role, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.


The role will be responsible for the transportation of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.


Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick our products from designated storage areas according to order specifications and packing lists Safely pack products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and protection to prevent damage during transit Conduct quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards, including expiration dates and product integrity Assist in the safe and timely transportation of our products, and services to various locations Assist in loading and unloading products safely, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage and maintain product integrity Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs Prepare and maintain accurate transportation records, including delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to support inventory management and replenishment processes Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and healthcare professionals during deliveries

Requirements

Requirements

Clean and full drivers licence Prior experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred Understanding of safety protocols and best practices for transporting pharmaceutical products, including temperature control and handling hazardous materials Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate records
