About Us

Hallix Developments is a Harrogate-based property development company specialising in turn-key construction projects across North and West Yorkshire. We are seeking a reliable and flexible Driver to support our busy team by providing transport between sites and handling collections and deliveries.

The Role

The Driver will play a key part in the smooth running of projects by ensuring materials, tools, and personnel are moved efficiently and safely between sites. You will also be responsible for collecting and delivering supplies, liaising with suppliers, and keeping vehicles in a roadworthy condition.

Key Responsibilities

Transport materials, tools, and equipment between sites as required. Collect and deliver supplies from merchants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Assist site teams with the loading and unloading of vehicles. Maintain accurate mileage and fuel records in line with company procedures. Carry out basic vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres, etc.) and report any defects. Ensure all driving complies with UK road laws and company health and safety policies. Represent Hallix Developments professionally when dealing with suppliers and members of the public.

Requirements

Full, clean UK driving licence (essential). Previous experience in a similar role within construction or logistics (desirable). Good knowledge of Yorkshire road networks. Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines. Physically fit and able to load/unload materials when required. Flexible and willing to adapt to changing site needs.
