Job Description
We are looking for a driver for our Happiness in Mind Day Service.
We have two services, one at Marlborough House, Warrior Square and one at Magdala House, Ferry Road, Rye.
Happiness in Mind offers older people and those with dementia, the chance to enjoy some new activities away from home. We offer support and a wide range of different things to do within a comfortable, safe environment. The specially trained staff and calm atmosphere mean that visitors can relax and enjoy their time while their carers get a much-needed break.
The Role
Patience and care are vital for this role. Our clients are vulnerable and rely on our drivers to get them safely from one place to another. we have our own vehicles to drive but you need to have a clean licence.
Duties include pick up and drop off from client homes, bringing them into and out of Marlborough House and Magdala House. Our clients live in Hastings, St Leonards on Sea, Bexhill, Battle and Rye.
Marlborough House is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
Magdala House is open Tuesday, Thursday, 9am to 4pm.
This is an annualised hours contract.
DBS checks will be required.
