Job Description
The primary objective is to support the Manager in driving/transporting live shellfish for 3 or 4 trips per week to airports and fishing ports. Overnight stays in Europe may be necessary from time to time. The nature of our work means the suitable candidate will have a high degree of flexibility. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Hold a licence for a minimum of 3 years
Hold a valid driver digital tachograph card.
Hold current drivers qualification card.
Fork lift driving qualification
Physically capable of loading and unloading goods, stacking of pallets, coupling and uncoupling of trailers
Basic numeracy and literacy
Experience of driving in Europe desirable.
Experience with refrigeration systems/perishable goods highly desirable
Salary will be negotiable and dependent on experience.
