Applications are invited from individuals for the post of a Driver/ Installation Technician with Carmarthenshire Integrated Community Equipment Service (CICES).


The post will be full time on a temporary basis until 30th November 2025 initially.


Applicants must possess a full driving licence.


The post holder will be expected to undertake the effective and efficient delivery, collection and maintenance of equipment that supports daily living within the Community. Further-more to install and make basic adjustments and/ or repairs to equipment as necessary.


The post holder will be expected to work in confined environments at times and work with heavy equipment in line with Health & Safety standards. The ability to use initiative and to work flexibly between the requirements of the role both on their own and as part of a team is essential.


Ideally, applicants will have experience of working in a busy environment; a knowledge of Local Authority and Health Board policies and procedures would be advantageous. However, training will be provided for the right candidate.


The successful applicant can expect a supportive working environment with regular supervision and opportunities to undertake job-related training to promote personal development.


The post holder will mainly be based in Heol Aur, Dafen, Llanelli working across the County of Carmarthenshire.
