Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any issues that may arise.

-Assist in picking orders for deliveries (training will be provided)

-Cash collecting

Experience

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or van driving is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.

- Must be able to drive manual van
