Korea Foods Company is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Korean and other Asian food. We are the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, distribute to 1200 wholesale customers, including the major multiples, and operate 19 retail shops in the UK.

night-shift

position, and hours may vary depending on business needs. Your working hours will be organised by the Transport Manager and communicated to you in advance.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for helping with the loading at the depot, and to help the driver off load the goods when delivering to customers.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

Making sure all goods are loaded safely and that the correct quantity is loaded onto the vehicle - checking this against the pick notes;

Providing outstanding customer service and being friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive the company;

Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable;

Aiding the driver to locate any new locations that require delivery when necessary;

Any other reasonable Management requests.

Person Specification

Valid UK working permit; Fluency in any of the following languages would be beneficial: Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin; Punctuality; Physically fit; Excellent communication skills for a demanding & customer focused working environment; Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales whilst maintaining attention to quality & detail; Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
